Regenerative Biologics Overview

Regenerative Biologics Overview at Dallas Regenerative Center

How we categorize biologic options, what the current evidence supports, and how candidacy is decided.

Biologic therapies fall into broad groups: preparations from your own tissue (autografts), donor-derived products (allografts), and signaling-focused preparations. They differ in regulatory status, preparation, and the strength of evidence behind them.

Candidacy is decided by diagnosis, stage, and goals — not by product availability. Where evidence is limited or a use is considered investigational, that is stated in writing before consent.

What to expect

  • Autologous, allograft, and signaling categories
  • Regulatory status disclosed for each option
  • Evidence and alternatives documented
  • Surgical referral when it is the better path
