Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy)

Microneedling (Collagen Induction Therapy) at Dallas Regenerative Center

A minimally invasive treatment that uses controlled micro-injury to prompt the skin's own collagen response.

Microneedling creates thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. The healing response that follows increases collagen and elastin deposition over the weeks after treatment, which can soften fine lines, improve texture, and reduce the appearance of acne scarring, surgical scars including C-section scars, and stretch marks.

It can be combined with topical serums or platelet-rich plasma prepared from your own blood. Most patients are scheduled for a series of three to six sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, with mild redness for 24 to 72 hours after each visit.

What to expect

  • Series-based protocol, typically 3–6 sessions
  • Optional PRP or serum pairing
  • 24–72 hours of expected redness
  • Not appropriate during active skin infection or certain conditions
